Prior to joining LJ Hooker, Rob’s previous commercial experience primarily spanned the communications and payments industries, including stints as Director of Marketing at American Express, General Manager of Walker Datavision Payments, Managing Director of the Ignite Group and Strategy Lead of Youtap Digital Banking.

Rob’s fundamental approach  to the real estate sector is based on extensive research and analysis, as the foundation of all strategic and tactical decision making - and coming from a family of architects Rob has a keen eye for detail and form.
Allied to this is a very holistic approach to customer and account management, driven from gaining a genuine understanding of a client’s real needs and wishes.

As a graduate of Oxford University with a master’s degree in Social, Economic and Political Geography, Rob has a keen understanding of how multiple factors come together to drive the property market dynamics and how the key drivers interact and influence at both a macro and micro level.

What may surprise some people is that Rob professes that lessons learnt as a commissioned pilot in the British Army are equally as important in the commercial world, namely a keen work ethic and a very disciplined approach to planning and execution.

When not at work Rob actively pursues his passion for outdoor multisport events, refereeing Junior Rugby and supporting his children and grandchildren in their various pursuits.
